Now all the guests have departed, the house feels very empty. Went for a 5 mile walk along the cliffs from Ayrmer Cove to Bigbury and Burgh Island. Then back through the fields.

| Burgh Island (and its art deco hotel) can only be reached by tractor at high tide. We just managed to cross the sand spit. |
